The Honda Passport's i-VTM4™ all-wheel-drive system undergoes testing in challenging off-road locations like California's Imperial Dunes (Glamis) and Dubai, setting it apart from other crossovers. Standard in all Passport models, it optimizes control by distributing up to 70% of engine torque to the rear wheels and adjusting as needed for traction. In challenging off-road conditions like mud or sand, the i-VTM4™ system directs torque to the wheel with the best grip, ensuring steady movement even if one rear wheel is airborne.
The Passport also features a standard four-mode Intelligent Traction Management system, allowing drivers to customize the i-VTM4™ system's response to different terrains like sand, snow, mud, and pavement.
