This includes pistons, piston rings, main bearings, crankshaft, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, timing gears and timing chain, valves, valve springs, guides, oil pump, rocker arms, push rods, hydraulic lifters, rocker arm shafts, and cylinder heads. Additionally, the engine block, cylinder walls, and sleeves are covered if their failure is directly caused by the failure of a covered part.
Standard transmission coverage includes standard bearings, bushings, shafts, spacers, all internal gears, synchronizing drums, main drive gear, main shaft, second gear, low gear, and reverse gear. Electrical components related to the operation of any transmission are not covered. Automatic transmission coverage includes mechanical failure of bearings, bushings, gear shafts, clutch plates, drums, oil pumps, servo units, rings, governor, torus units, torque converter, and valves. The transmission case for both standard and automatic transmissions is covered only if the failure is a direct result of a covered part. Items not covered under any circumstances include the pilot bearing, the clutch release bearing, the pressure plate, the odometer-driven gear, and the manual transmission clutch disc.
