The Honda Accord is among the best-known midsize family sedans in the United States and worldwide. Now on its 11th generation that debuted in 2023, the Accord receives no major changes for the 2024 model year. It is available in the same six trim levels as the previous year.
The Car and Driver magazine ranks the 2024 Accord as its number one midsize family sedan. That’s a great reason to consider an Accord as your next family car seriously. So, if you’d like to find the best 2024 Honda Accord specials, head to Ascension Honda. Our Honda specialists will show you around this amazing car, and you can even take it for a test drive.
The 2024 Honda Accord has an impressively sized 103 cubic-foot passenger cabin. Seating up to five adults, all trims except LX have a standard one-touch power moonroof. Furthermore, the 2024 Accord's dashboard includes Honda's latest honeycomb mesh-effect design language and a simplified control layout. All variants also include active noise canceling for the cabin to filter out road and engine sound.
Every 2024 Accord has a long list of standard features, including dual-zone climate control, USB-C charging ports for front and rear passengers, and a digital gauge cluster. But higher trims get leather seats. A 10-way power-adjustable driver seat and heated front seats are also standard from EX trim upwards. Moreover, the top-range Touring Hybrid comes with heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
The 2024 Accord amply addresses your family’s storage requirements. Every variant has a 16.7 cubic-foot trunk, plenty of storage cubbies, and cup and bottle holders. The rear seat backs can also be folded down, with a 60-40 split fold configuration from EX upwards.
The 2024 Accord’s sharp looks are unchanged from the all-new design that debuted in 2023. All variants feature LED headlamps and taillamps, body-colored door handles, and an active shutter grille. Depending on the trim, buyers can also get 17-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, a gloss black rear deck lid spoiler, and a rear diffuser.
The 2024 Accord range comes in eight colors.
Honda offers two powertrains for the 2024 Accord range. The LX and EX have a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Honda also uses this engine on the CR-V and the Civic. In the Accord, it develops 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. A CVT transmission and front-wheel drive are also standard. Independent testing has clocked this variant at 7.3 seconds in the 0-60 benchmark.
Meanwhile, hybrid trims have a sophisticated Earth Dreams hybrid powertrain. It combines two electric motors with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. An electronic CVT gearbox with deceleration selectors also sends power to the front wheels. This powertrain develops 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. Moreover, it can do 0-60 in just 6.6 seconds, as per independent testing.
All 2024 Accords come with a hill start assist system and the Eco Assist system. This helps drivers drive more economically. Hybrid variants also include a four-mode drive system. The four modes are Normal, Eco, Sport, and Individual. The Individual mode allows the driver to create their driving mode profile by customizing certain elements.
The Honda 2024 Accord is undoubtedly an excellent midsize family sedan. It's got a great blend of space, comfort, and performance. This Honda car also comes with plenty of safety features. Why not put one in your driveway? Visit Ascension Honda in Gonzales, LA, to help you do that.
